To support students in reinforcing their theoretical knowledge and enhancing their laboratory skills, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology at Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City, organized a training workshop on “Skills in Using Laboratory Equipment and Instruments.” This workshop is part of the project "Improving the Sustainability of Marine Economics through Professional and Educational Collaboration" funded by the Embassy of Ireland to Vietnam.
The training workshop took place at 9:00 AM on January 12, 2025, at Cat Tuong Hall, Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City. The session was conducted by MSc. Nguyễn Anh Trinh, a lecturer from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology, and was attended by over 100 students from the faculty.
The training workshop was specifically designed for students, focusing on essential and practical topics. One of the key areas covered was an introduction to basic laboratory equipment. In addition, the workshop provided students with a deeper understanding of equipment operation procedures while also enhancing their skills in using laboratory instruments. Participants received detailed guidance on the functionality of various devices, making this an invaluable opportunity to consolidate and apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
Through videos, engaging content, and interactive discussions led by the speaker, students gained new insights and broadened their understanding of laboratory techniques, further enriching their academic and practical skills.
