Dr. Binh Cong Nguyen has an engineer's degree in seafood processing technology from Nha Trang University, a master's degree in food technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and a PhD in food technology from Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Seafood Processing Technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade's Faculty of Food Technology.

Binh specializes in extracting biologically active compounds from aquatic and agricultural by-products. Binh provides technical consulting services for several businesses and food corporations. He has also authored over 20 research articles, conferences, and books.
