Mr. Dat Tien Huynh earned his Master of Science degree, specializing in Food Science and Nutrition, and his Doctorate at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Dr. Dat works at the Department of Food Biochemistry and Human Nutrition, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology, Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

His research interest focuses on the fundamental and potential of modifying food biomaterials into beneficially physiological forms; application of appropriate processing technology to enrich and conserve essential nutrients and bioactive components in foods; research on pulverization of plant-based materials that are rich in vitamins and phytochemicals to apply in the food industry and functional food production
